Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented individual to be a Production Technician in Muscatine, IA. The production technician will be responsible for a safe, reliable, and efficient operating of Cryogenic Air Separation plants. The role will include, but not be limited to performing routine operating, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The candidate must have demonstrated ability to work across departmental lines. Candidate needs to be able to travel up to 10% of the time in order to support a remote plant located at Sterling, IL. Candidate must be able to adjust the work schedule based on the facility activities, be able to work overtime as required, and be on call. On-call for the year will be split between the candidate, once qualified, and the other Muscatine technician. Must be willing and have the ability to interpret manufacturers' manuals and apply hands-on skills in repairing certain mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting Electrical Schematics, Process Diagrams, and Electrical One Line DiagramsPerform calibration of analyzers and have the ability to troubleshoot control systems.Have a working knowledge of computers and typical computer programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point)Monitor process performance and make appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations and align to the specified norm.Operates units to continuously supply products in quantities and qualities safely and economically, complying with all environmental regulations, quality standards and daily customer requirementsSafely troubleshoot and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, gas burner systems, and valves.Operating forklifts/man-liftsWorking outdoors in various weather conditions.
