Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently managing the operation of plasma reactors according to production schedules. You will monitor and adjust reactor parameters in real time to optimize performance and output quality.

Shift Schedule:

Friday–Tuesday Morning Shift

Shift Options: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMNote: This is a weekend-inclusive schedule.

Responsibilities

Operate and clean production equipment, including reactors, pumps, tanks, blenders, and absorbers.Perform diversified tasks to install and maintain production machinery and plant facilities.Conduct regular maintenance of reactors and associated equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.Ensure produced fertilizers meet predefined quality standards by conducting tests and inspections.Work closely with engineers to refine production techniques and suggest improvements.Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and environmental regulations, participating in safety drills and training.Maintain accurate production data records and generate reports for management review.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, to support the development of new fertilizer formulations or production methods.

Essential Skills

Mechanical skills with proficiency in using power tools.Experience in production and troubleshooting.Strong understanding of chemical processes and safety protocols.Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift.Technical knowledge in mechanical installations, including working with hoses, cords, tubing, and PVC piping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to wear a respirator.Mechanically inclined with general production experience.Familiarity with chemical industry operations.

Work Environment

The work environment is a start-up atmosphere within a large warehouse that can be cold or hot at times. Safety glasses are required as part of the personal protective equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
