Corteva has an exciting opportunity for a **Production Technician** to join our team at our **Wingham, Ontario** facility! **What You’ll Do:** + The role of a Production Technician is versatile and may encompass tasks related to the seed production plant, harvesting, receiving, conditioning, treater operation, packaging, warehousing, and shipping, as well as general maintenance as directed by the supervisor + Harvesting duties include activities such as combining, trucking, seed drying + Safely operating equipment using PLC computer automation software + Entering data such as testing results and quality concerns + Warehouse responsibilities may include inventory management and moving seed using forklifts + Ensuring compliance with Quality and Safety requirements, including developing and reviewing procedures **Education:** + High School Diploma or equivalent + 2-Year college Diploma or 4-Year Degree or equivalent experience preferred **What Skills You Need:** + You are willing and able to work in a variety of areas (field, plant, warehouse) + Ability to learn and train on the job under the guidance of others + You are comfortable with technology and possess a good computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company-specific applications as required + You are willing and able to perform the physical aspects of the job with or without reasonable accommodation: climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting + You can work independently as well as in a team environment + You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills + You have high diligence, can multitask, maintain an organized workplace, and have excellent critical thinking skills + You value health and safety!
