Production Technician
**Job Title: Production Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team. This role involves handling dry goods, operating forklifts, and packaging products for distribution. Candidates will be integral to the production process, working in various environments and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. **Responsibilities** + Pour dry goods into batch mixers and package the resulting containers. + Operate sit-down forklifts and reach truck forklifts to move materials throughout the facility. + Stock products on racks and assist the shipping and receiving team with packaging for distribution. + Lift heavy molds weighing up to 26 lbs and frequently lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. + Work in environments subject to external temperatures, managing hot and cold conditions. + Maintain cleanliness in production areas and ensure waste is removed at the end of shifts. + Complete necessary documentation such as the Sealing Room log sheet and R1212 form. + Check product appearance and weights before processing through the metal detector. + Maintain logs of out-of-spec paste and report findings daily. + Follow safety protocols and attend all safety meetings. + Be available for required overtime and assist in other areas as needed. + Ensure safe operation of forklifts, including battery and safety maintenance. + Load and unload trucks, taking pictures of empty and full trucks as instructed. + Operate pallet wrappers and ensure the cleanliness of work areas. + Follow specific shipping instructions and ensure accurate deliveries. + Inspect containers and trailers for damage prior to loading and unloading. + Assist in the production of legacy products and repacks. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation and material handling experience. + Experience in production and packaging environments. + Ability to frequently lift heavy items up to 50 lbs. + Familiarity with batch mixers and racking systems. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. **Why Work Here?** Join a small, dedicated team with opportunities for growth and development. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
