Reporting to the Technical Engineering Manager, the Production Tech III position will be focused on maintaining and improving production test systems for Hach products to ensure they meet their performance, quality, and reliability requirements. The position will perform technical, multi-disciplined tasks to improve manufacturing quality and product performance. This includes activities such as preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and implementation/validation of equipment and process changes.

This position is part of the Production team and is located in Loveland, CO. It will be onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:Identify and resolve safety risks and uncontrolled hazardsComplete advanced preventive and emergency maintenance activities as assignedResponds to and resolves production issues with little or no assistance. Performs troubleshooting of production test stands and fixtures. Escalates as needed for issues beyond scope of own responsibilityProvide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing proceduresCompletes work with a limited degree of supervisionManage equipment purchase processes and required inventory for ongoing production needsProvide training and documentation as needed for end usersDesign and implement tools, jigs, and fixtures as neededCommunicates detailed technical information effectively with tact and diplomacy, both written and verbalRequired to work off-shift or Saturday, as needed, to support production or to maximize up-time on machinery/processesCoordinates exchange of information with relevant departments and impacted partiesWork collaboratively with R&D Engineering, Operations, Project Management and Quality personnel

The essential requirements of the job include:

4+ years in related role in an applicable environment Associate’s degree or equivalent experience Advanced technical and mechanical problem solving Ability to recognize and solve non-routine problems; completes work with limited direction Experience working with common data communication methods and devices (i.e. USB, Modbus, RS-485, etc.).Experience with manufacturing quality and control tools (i.e. pFMEA, Gauge R&R, etc.) is a plus

Understanding of engineering best practices and test methodologies.Able to analyze complex test data to resolve issues.Demonstrated capability to solve technical problems.Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical components and tools. Good analytical, documentation and communication skills.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $29.52 - $34.92 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
