Summary: 

The Production Associate position is an entry level position to learn the processes of manufacturing and the different machines used in the process. 

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock: 

Pushing StockStacking off from the machines. Off load corrugated from the machinesAssist operators and apprentices as neededResponsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

What you need to succeed:

Must be able to work all three shiftsPerform other duties as assignedOvertime and Saturday work may be requiredYou must have a good job history and attendance record.Powered Industrial Truck experience is a plus, but not essential.High school Diploma or GED required.Industrial / manufacturing experience requestedMaintain housekeeping excellence - maintain a clean and organized workspaceMust be able to lift, push, walk, stand, and bend throughout a shiftCorrugated box manufacturing experience a plus, printing experience very helpful Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
