Who we’re looking for

Toyota's Portland Vehicle Distribution Center is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Production Team Member for the 2nd shift. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Team Member is responsible for the timely receipt, processing and distribution of Toyota and Lexus vehicles including accessory installation, rail loading/unloading and vehicle movement while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.

What you bring

An interest in cars and the quality production process that is the hallmark of Toyota as a company.A commitment to safety and quality, including strong attention to detail.Experience using hand tools, power tools, and other similar equipment or a strong desire to learn.Possess and Maintain a Valid Driver License.Possess and Maintain a Valid Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC), or ability to obtain.Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.Ability to work outside in normal and inclement weather conditions.Willingness to join the Teamsters Local 305 Union.

The annual base salary range for this position is

VDC Hourly Range:

Starting hourly wage of $24.67 (+ $1.00 Night Shift Differential) with pay increases every 6 months until full wage is reached - $32.84 - $35.68 depending on job classificationAttendance bonus up to $300.00 per quarterShift hours: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM, plus overtime and weekend work as neededProfessional growth and development programs to help advance your career, as well as tuition reimbursementExcellent health care & wellness plans for your entire family14 Paid Holidays as well as generous vacation accruals and paid sick leaveToyota Vehicle Purchase Program with special team member discountsPension, available 401k plan, and generous retiree benefits plans for qualified individuals through Teamsters membershipWork environment built on teamwork and respect
