We are seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Functional Manager to lead operational excellence across our manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, managing performance metrics, and ensuring alignment with business unit objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for lean manufacturing.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional collaboration to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable bottom-line results.Track and report key performance indicators including labor hour consumption, work order completion, inventory accuracy, throughput, capacity, and customer complaints.Establish and monitor team goals aligned with quality standards and operational targets.Develop and manage the operational budget for the assigned functional area.Translate business unit objectives into actionable goals within the manufacturing department.Monitor productivity and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of customer commitments.Design and implement training programs to enhance workforce capability and performance.Champion compliance and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives in support of plant-wide goals.Drive the implementation of LEAN manufacturing principles and practices.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in production, supply chain, or leadership; OR High School diploma/GED with 7 years of relevant experience; OR completion of a GE Healthcare Leadership Program.Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.Demonstrated success in implementing best practices and navigating ambiguity in dynamic environments.GE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
