We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Support Operative to join our team in supporting the maintenance and production of Hitachi Rolling Stock. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including assisting with corrective and preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs. You will be actively involved in transporting, loading, and unloading materials using a forklift truck, ensuring that stock levels are maintained to prevent delays in production. The role also includes supporting waste management processes in line with Hitachi's environmental standards, cleaning internal and external areas, handling emergency cleaning tasks such as spillages and bodily fluids, and ensuring all equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained. You'll be expected to carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks, respond to customer needs promptly, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

While previous experience in a similar role is preferred, full training will be provided. A valid forklift license is desirable.
