Join a dynamic joint venture backed by one of the largest aerospace and defense companies in the world. This opportunity is in Camden, Arkansas. This customer is seeking a high performing Production Support Engineer to fill this key role supporting a dynamic and growing joint venture. This company supports requirements of identified worldwide customers. As a Production Support Engineer, you’ll serve as the technical bridge between suppliers, customers, and internal teams (Engineering, Operations, and Quality). You’ll oversee production execution for mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electrical subassemblies including AURs, Canisters, Circuit Card Assemblies, Motors, Rocket Motors, Warheads, and machined parts. Your role will be hands-on, dynamic, and critical to ensuring production readiness and technical alignment across stakeholders.
The Production Support Engineer will lead technical efforts to transfer production knowledge to new suppliers, ensuring seamless integration and execution. This includes traveling to supplier sites to assess manufacturing planning, tooling, process flows, inventory management, and factory layouts. The engineer will prepare and release Technical Data Packages (TDPs) through the program’s Configuration Control Board, evaluate Engineering Change Notices for cost and execution impact, and communicate technical risks arising from supplier Change Requests and Nonconformance Reports. They will support the Quality team in reviewing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, brief leadership on supplier and program status, and justify technical change requests. Additionally, the role involves creating technical presentations for foreign customer engineering teams, participating in daily peer reviews, and contributing to the development and standardization of engineering processes.
This schedule will sit on-site in Camden, AR and be in a 9/80 schedule.
Compensation: $100,000-$115,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
This facility contains classified information and thus requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in aerospace/defense
• Strong background in manufacturing/producibility
• Experience preparing and presenting technical content to leadership
• GD&T interpretation and application
• EVMS and ERP system experience
• Familiarity with configuration management principles
• Familiarity with build-to-print manufacturing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Advanced problem-solving skills
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance • 8+ years of aerospace/defense engineering experience
• Knowledge of CCA manufacturing and electrical systems testing
Strong cross-functional communication skills
