Job Description:

This is a full time DIRECT HIRE opportunity in Clearfield PA. You will be responsible for overseeing all personnel and production operations during off- hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role ensures production goals are met, employees follow company procedures and policies, and safety and quality standards are maintained. The Shift Supervisor acts as the primary point of contact for any operational or personnel issues during their shift.

Responsibilities:

Supervise all off-shift employees, ensuring proper staffing, performance, and adherence to production schedules.Maintain a visible and proactive presence on the production floor.Monitor and coordinate all production activities to ensure efficiency and timely output.Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards.Conduct start-of-shift meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and any shift-specific updates.Record and approve employee time off, attendance, and shift changes in accordance with HR and company policies.Make and maintain employee profile notes regarding performance, attendance, or behavioral issues.Perform or assist with employee evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Administer disciplinary actions, when necessary, in alignment with company protocols.Manage emergency response procedures and serve as the incident point-person during off hours.Maintain secure access to building and locker areas; issue or revoke access as needed.Troubleshoot and escalate equipment or production issues to maintenance or upper management.Prepare and submit detailed shift reports summarizing production, staffing, incidents, and goals achieved.Foster a safe, productive, and respectful work environment.
