Salary $100-120k/year DOE
Responsibilities:
-Establish and monitor department performance for Safety, Quality, 5S and Productivity
-Responsible for communicating daily production goals and reporting status to Production Manager
-Collaborate with Production Manager and Engineering staff to troubleshoot production/design issues
-Assist with the selection, orientation and training of new team members, working with Human Resources and Production Manager
-Develop/maintain positive employee relations and resolution of employee issues and concerns
-Conduct and prepare performance appraisals and individual development plans
-Problem Solve: Analyze data, investigate personnel issues, and collaborate with HR and Operations leadership to identify and implement solutions
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor
-Managing team members timecards, tracking attendance, vacation time and overtime
-Cooperate with all areas within the company to ensure overall company goals are met

-Experience in Production or Operations management in a similar manufacturing environment
-Strong knowledge of MIG welding techniques, materials, and quality control standards
-2-5+ years of supervisory or management experience within a welding or manufacturing environment
-Proven experience in team leadership, employee coaching, process improvement, and production planning
-Strong ability to read and interpret product blueprints and engineering specifications
-Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees in a manufacturing environment
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, particularly in resolving welding and production challenges
-Proficient in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance
-Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting demands
-Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with employees, leadership, and cross-functional teams
-Proficient using computers and various manufacturing and production software applications to track performance, plan schedules, and monitor quality control
-Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety regulations relevant to welding and manufacturing operations
