**Description** Job Title: Harvest Floor Supervisor Location: Omaha Reporting To: Harvest Floor General Foreman Essential Job Functions: + Monitor slaughter area by evaluating product and administering corrective procedures + Maintain acceptable yield levels on all products on all carcasses + Perform daily safety walks correcting any non-compliance issues and audits product and employee safety throughout shift + Ensure all safety regulations, food safety policies and collective bargaining agreement are understood and enforced, working closely with Quality Assurance + Record employee daily attendance and verify time cards to ensure correct pay for hours worked + Rectify attendance issues by coordinating personnel to fill vacant or absent positions and follow any disciplinary procedures with hourly employees + Attend supervisor meetings each morning + Contribute to the ongoing development of JBS Omaha’s policy and procedures + All other duties as assigned by General Foreman or Superintendent + Demonstrate the use of JBS Values Experience Required: + Minimum 1-2 years’ production experience + Past leadership experience preferred but not required + High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred but not required Skills/Abilities Required: + Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship and work collaboratively + Proven written and verbal communication skills, problem solving, and leadership qualities + Must be able to work in conditions of extreme heat + Must be able to work flexible hours and some Saturday work + General computer skills + Knowledge of meat processing and subsequent job specifications + Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time JBS is an equal opportunity employer.
