Primary Responsibilities:
· Evaluate each fabrication and welding workstation to ensure maximum efficiency.
· Hire, train, review, and support department employees.
· Develop and implement daily work plans to meet production schedules and adjust plans as needed to accommodate changes or unforeseen challenges
· Track work orders, post production, conduct cycle counts.
· Ensure resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
· Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among crew members
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Minimum Qualifications:
· Previous supervisory or related experience is a plus.
· 3+ years in manufacturing or assembly facilities.
· Forklift certification is required.
· Familiar with print reading and use of inspection tools.
· Good computer skills.
· Previous ERP experience preferred.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be able to communicate in English.
Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationery, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
