This role involves coordinating staff, processes, and equipment to maintain a seamless flow of production without quality issues. The supervisor will also be responsible for employee engagement, training, and problem-solving to ensure a productive and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on safety policies and procedures.Plan, initiate, and assist in training personnel to develop a cross-trained workforce.Recommend and implement measures to improve productivity and efficiencies.Schedule and assign personnel to meet production goals and deadlines.Promote employee engagement through coaching, training, and performance monitoring.Coordinate equipment and labor to minimize downtime and meet production schedules.Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues to ensure customer expectations are met.Collaborate with peers and management to align production with business objectives.Qualifications and Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required, associate’s degree in a related field preferred.Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment.Experience working with sheet metal is a plus.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).Proven ability to coach, mentor, and provide feedback to employees.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing environment.Must be able to work extended hours and varying shifts as required.Ability to become forklift certified.Benefits and Perks:Pay Rate: $26.00 – $29.00 per hourMedical, dental, and vision benefits after 90 daysPaid holidaysESOP Company Your New Organization:Our client is a family-owned business that has been manufacturing high-quality sheet metal products since 1964. The base pay range for this position is $26.00–$29.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
