Key responsibilities • Execute the production schedule safely and efficiently; lead daily huddles and shift handovers while coordinating with supporting functions.• Manage staffing and performance, including time/attendance, training, coaching, and corrective actions to ensure adherence to SOPs, GMPs, and safe work practices.• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF/GFSI standards and that customer specifications are consistently met.• Maintain and update SOPs; collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and HSE teams on process standards, safety programs, inspections, and site initiatives.• Apply basic continuous improvement tools (e.g., 5 Whys, simple problem solving) and support site KPIs such as safety, OEE, yields, waste, schedule adherence, and downtime.• Oversee SAP activities, including releasing and reconciling manufacturing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and submitting maintenance notifications to reduce downtime.• Partner with Planning, Quality, HSE, Maintenance, and Warehouse to ensure material availability, compliance, and operational flow.• Maintain accurate production and compliance documentation, including daily reports, downtime logs, lot/batch records, sanitation records, and training documentation.• Support site projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required. Qualifications and skills • Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal instructions in English; strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.• 4–10 years of manufacturing experience (food industry experience preferred).• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science/Technology, Operations, or equivalent experience.• Demonstrated adherence to GMPs, safe work practices, and success working in a team environment; willingness to support other shifts as needed.• Basic understanding of root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, fishbone); Lean/continuous improvement experience is preferred.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and workforce/time systems (e.g., Workforce Dimensions/Kronos) preferred. Compensation Data The pay range for this position is $64,479 - $105,272 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
