Production Supervisor
Air Swift
Airswift is looking for a Production Supervisor (Offshore) to work on an outsourced contract (1 year) in Guyana with an Oil and Gas company.
The Production Supervisor will demonstrate a high level of supervisory, leadership, and safety and will specifically ensure that all aspects of the production activity are carried out effectively and efficiently through delegation of care and control of responsibilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote awareness of safety and the application of the company's Management System, Control Practices, and key policies.
Contribute effectively to the investigation, review, and preparation of incident reports.
Manage the workload and operation of Production, Process, and Utilities systems at the team level through the subordinate team.
Evaluate the competence of the subordinate team using the company's competency assurance system and ensure the continuous and timely progress of the subordinate team.
Ensure that probationary and annual evaluations are completed fairly, consistently, and in a timely manner.
Manage well-being and discipline issues at the team level, with due consultation with the Superintendent, Maintenance Operations Manager (OIM), and Fleet HR.
Efficient operation of unit systems, taking health and safety into consideration.
Ensure full compliance with the PTW system, as well as risk assessment and verification.
Maintain effective cost control and promote cost awareness among others.
Report necessary maintenance work in a timely manner to maximize efficiency and uptime.
Organize personnel and resources effectively.
Replace the Production Superintendent during emergency response, managing it with due attention to the safety of personnel, the vessel, and the environment.
Demonstrate, through exercises and simulations, knowledge and awareness of emergency response techniques.
Demonstrate knowledge of the potential impact of incidents and simulations on vessel safety.
Contribute effectively to the preparation of useful exercises and to post-exercise/incident review and investigation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Offshore experience
Experience as a Production Supervisor/Lead Technician
Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
Good knowledge of ESD and DCS operation
Experience in supervising Work Permits, Mechanical/Electrical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
Proficiency in English
Offshore - Either 4 weeks on/ 4 weeks off, or 5 weeks on/ 5 weeks off.
