Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to provide technical support and leadership to our unionized maintenance team. This role is critical to ensuring operational continuity and supporting the implementation of new automated production lines and capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide on-the-floor technical guidance and training to maintenance staff, especially recent graduates
-Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize production downtime
-Collaborate with management and unionized employees to implement departmental improvements
-Support capital projects related to automation and equipment upgrades
-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
-Maintain flexibility to work rotating shifts (day/evening) as needed

Skills and Requirements
-Vocational diploma in a related field
-Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience or 3–5 years as a team leader
-Experience in a unionized, industrial environment preferred but not required
-Strong knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
-Willingness to work flexible hours and rotating shifts
-French language proficiency preferred; English not required
