Responsibilities Lead and mentor a shift team to achieve daily production targets. Enforce all food safety, quality, and workplace safety protocols. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform pre-operational inspections. Operate a forklift to manage material and product movement. Train new employees and foster a collaborative team environment. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and efficient production floor. Lead shift meetings and provide essential production data. Qualifications High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in food science, Engineering, or related field a strong plus. 3–5 years in food processing, including 1–2 years in a leadership role. Proven leadership abilities. Forklift certification required (must not be an in-house certification). 5th Class Power Engineer or HACCP certifications desirable. You must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and own transportation. Proficiency with MS Office. Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and basic math for inventory and yields. Able to work in warm and dusty environments. Able to adapt to rotational shifts. Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted. Must have steel-toe boots; other safety gear will be provided. Able to provide 2–3 professional references. Able to pass a background check. Able to start immediately.
