This Position reports to:
Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Management representative that portrays a professional attitude and is part of, as well as supports the Fort Smith, AR Production Management Team.Will be responsible for the production, safety, housekeeping, quality and problem solving for your assigned department and will work with other support departments including the tool room, maintenance, quality, and engineering to increase productivity and accomplish plant goals.Prepare and maintain the production schedule for the department and be a backup supervisor when needed. Responsible for timekeeping and other HR related tasks for your employees and will facilitate training within the department.Must be able to maintain employee’s confidence by portraying high character, intelligence, honesty and dependability while being fair and consistent in enforcing the disciplinary steps per the employee handbook guidelines and ABB policies.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR Associate’s Degree with minimum 4 years experience OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 6 years experience.
Preferred Experience Includes: Supervisory experience working in a manufacturing environment - Lean 6 Sigma Certification - Shopfloor Display - Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint - SAP, Workday.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
