Who We're Looking For
Reporting to the Assistant Site Manager, the Production Supervisor will play a ‘hands on’ role in the daily manufacturing management to ensure that we deliver exceptional quality and value to our customers within the expected timescales.
As a Production Supervisor, you will;
Supervise a team of up to 30 within the Upholstery production area via process improvements, resolving workflow issues, resource planning and best practice to ensure departmental targets are achieved. Oversee the supply chain to ensure no disruption to production and service, whilst maximising any cost saving potential. Work alongside Product and Operational teams to ensure products exceed industry standards, company policies and technical standards. Develop and manage the team through training plans and developing talent. Conduct daily floor walks, audits and follow the Health & Safety processes. Undertake key decision making in relation to commercial decisions, supplier issues and introduction of new models.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of lean manufacturing practices from an Upholstery/ furniture making background.
You’ll have experience of running a Production line and be able to lead your team to deliver against manufacturing KPIs.
