Job DescriptionAbout the Team: Lead and supervise production personnel utilizing procedures and work instructions to meet and exceed customer and company requirements for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
What you can look forward to as a Production Supervisor:
Foster a positive, results-driven work environment by coaching and mentoring team leaders and employees. Serve as a liaison between employees and the company, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution. Maintain a safe, issue-free work environment while enforcing company safety protocols and procedures. Drive continuous improvement by optimizing production processes, reducing waste, and solving problems. Ensure compliance with KPIs, TS 16949, ISO-14001, SAP, ZF policies, and production requirements. Supervise, train, and develop production employees to ensure they meet qualifications and company goals. Manage production operations, including planning, work assignments, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Facilitate team meetings, track performance, provide feedback, and implement action plans to meet production and quality goals.
Your profile as a Production Supervisor:
Associates Degree (preferred in Mechanical, or technical field) or three (3) years of experience. Proven leadership ability and strong people skills (coaching, mentoring, motivation, communication, problem resolution). Understanding of Lean principles and responsibilities. Understands the application, tracking, utilization, and purpose of KPI’s. Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. Working knowledge and basic trouble-shooting skills of CNC machining equipment and/or automated assembly equipment. Availability and flexibility schedule (e.g. weekends) to meet customer requirements.
