We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our Collins Aerospace team within a unionized environment. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while adhering to an agreed CBA. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of production processes, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse workforce. In this role you will drive Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) implementation at the cell level in alignment with the Collins CORE operating system.
This is an onsite position that will work the 3-11PM shift with the initial training likely taking place during our 7AM - 3PM shift. This role may be eligible for relocation.
**What You Will Do**
+ Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.
+ Champion safety, quality improvement, and CORE programs within the manufacturing cell(s).
+ Manage and support union employees by interpreting collective bargaining agreements, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication between management and the union.
+ Monitor production schedules, workflow, and resources to optimize efficiency and resolve any issues that arise.
+ Conduct regular performance appraisals, provide training, and develop team members to enhance skills and career growth.
+ Implement CORE initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
+ Maintain accurate production records and reports, ensuring documentation is complete and compliance is maintained.
+ Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
+ Handle employee issues, including timekeeping, discipline, and conflict resolution, in accordance with the union contract and company policies.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Prior Supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing setting.
+ Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
+ Usage of Microsoft, Excel, Power Point, SAP.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience with continuous improvement projects

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
