Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Responsible for supervising manufacturing operations in an automotive assembly environment, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience

Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting required

Automotive assembly experience required

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience leading teams in both union and non-union environments

Familiarity with 5S, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events

Knowledge of quality systems, safety procedures, and continuous improvement processes

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise 1–2 areas/processes within the production facility

Support production teams by troubleshooting daily manufacturing issues

Provide performance feedback and conduct appraisals

Enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards across work areas

Lead or support maintenance, improvement, and value stream projects

Conduct root cause analyses to resolve product and process issues

Address and document nonconformance issues and corrective actions

Implement and sustain 5S practices and ensure proper tool/material readiness

Lead process changes and champion process improvement initiatives

Develop and maintain standard work and value stream maps

Maintain accurate records in accordance with internal policies



Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
