Salary Range: $83-101,000 salary approximation (actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor – off-shift at our Engines Products - Cleveland Operations Tempcraft facility located at 3960 S. Marginal Rd. in Cleveland. The supervisor role is the first level of authority in the Patterns Business Center providing leadership, coaching and clear direction to ensure people are working safely, meeting customer demand, solving problems, eliminating waste and meeting goals.
This is an off-shift position working Monday-Friday 4:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m.; however, you must have the flexibility in scheduling with availability to work all shifts, including weekends.

Job Responsibilities:
Ensure all Environmental and Safety policies are followedManage the shift operations to produce quality parts and/or component parts on time, in the quantities needed and quality that meets specifications.Receive demand requirements and schedule resources (machine and people) to meet demand and develop recovery plans when demand is not metMonitor material inventory and work with Procurement to ensure material flow supports production schedulesWork with other Patterns Supervisors to coordinate product flow across the manufacturing groups, inspection and shippingSolve operations problems identified by operators, Team Leads, Engineering and Operations Manager.Provide leadership, direction and motivation to employees in assigned area.Work with Operations manager to determine staffing levelsWork with the Team Leads to develop and execute training plans for all operators to ensure they have the skills needed to safely and correctly do their jobs and are sufficiently cross trained to optimize resource usageDirect the implementation of Howmet Business System initiatives (lean manufacturing) including 5S, standardized work, work balance, product flow and TPM improvements
