Production Supervisor, 3rd Shift – Kennesaw, GA
This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for facilitating all activities of the Production Operators. The Production Supervisor will assist the Production Manager by ensuring all departments are operating assigned equipment in a safe manner consistent with current SOPs and GMP requirements. The Production Supervisor will assist the Production Manager in the timely execution of batches according to the production schedule. The Production Supervisor must conform to the Deerland Enzymes and Probiotics Core Values which are reflected in ADM/Deerland’s SQUAD Quality Policy.
Job Responsibilities:Learn all the Production Operator roles, responsibilities, and SOPs specific to each area and equipment in the facility to provide supportFacilitate the needs of Production Operators to ensure maximum productivityEnsure all required batch records and forms are completed in an accurate and timely mannerEnsure all assigned equipment is being operated in a safe, productive, and in accordance with the production scheduleEnsure products in assigned area are produced according to the batch record and specificationsEnsure all operators are entering the correct data input for the VORNE system in all production areas to monitor the equipment overall efficiencyEnsure assigned equipment and rooms are cleaned according to SOPs guidelinesAdherent to company rules and safe work practicesMaintain a clean and organized work areaRequired Skills:Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in a regulated industryStrong organizational and recordkeeping skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Clear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teamsLeadership Skills – Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to direct, organize and motivate a team. Must be proactive, detail oriented and focused on Quality.
