We're looking for a Production Superintendent for Ivory Coast to lead a team that handles onsite production activities, to guarantee equipment availability, reliability and performance in line with OEM recommendations and client load demands. The role is aimed at creating a single point of contact responsible for the management, supervision and analysis of all site load control systems via SCADA and allocation of daily tasks in conjunction with Maintenance Superintendent to drive continued performance improvement and operational efficiency.

Adhere to company’s QHSE , policies and procedures on sites (LOTO, ESR, Lifting, Tool Calibration, spill prevention, Technician’s PPE). Ensure proper planning of resources, (tools, manpower, spares parts) are completed & available on site for plant Operations, 03 monthly forecast, 06 monthly forecast, Yearly ForecastManage customer demand through advanced load profile scheduling via SCADA system and client communications. Provide advance notification to plant manager when current availability will not satisfy customer demandContinually monitor and optimise load changes to satisfy our internal & external customers. Effectively use the SCADA system to control site start-up/shutdown.Monitor and action site/asset alarms to support incident resolution, maximising equipment effectiveness. Investigate, analyse and resolve identified site performance issues with the site team.Review operational performance against site KPI’s. Identify and discuss areas of opportunity with the Maintenance Superintendent and plant manager. Perform first line analysis on asset performance to maximise Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Promote / escalate performance issues / initiatives to the regional engineering and maintenance team. -Coordinate maintenance tasks with the maintenance superintendent to optimise asset condition/performance and manpower availability.Regularly perform data sanity checks to ensure the system reflects actual performance. Escalate data transmission reliability to Controls Support Engineer. Support system upgrades. Provide feedback on IT/controls equipment/technology reliability.-Facilitate Kaizen Improvement events to deeply understand root cause and equipment availability, Reliability and Performance issues. Monitor that asset’s performance, post-maintenance, reaches desired levels and according to specifications.Regular reporting to Plant manager of main Production KPI including Site availability, major assets breakdown, Specific fuel consumption (g/kwh, L/kwh, BTU/kwh), Specific Lub Consumption ( L/kwh). Delivers the required project margins and other financial goals through optimum utilization of resources.You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience on a Power Project or manufacturing environment. Ability to read drawings and electrical diagrams (SLD,SLO etc…)Ability to read P&IDs. Ability to read mechanical drawings and analyze Performance data’s of a 4-stroke engine fuelled by Gas, HFO or Diesel.Able to understand the operations of plant equipment’s. Computer literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams & Outlook essential).The ability to work in a cohesive team. A strong working knowledge of equipment repair procedures.Excellent oral and written communication skills (English). Ability to withstand pressure.Strong Leadership skills. Well organized, able to handle multi tasks in a controlled manner.Analytical thinking with attention to detail in complex engineering scenarios.
