Production Specialist - Memphis, TN

Position Responsibilities:Assists in all areas of the loading, unloading and transferring of grain and grain products for truck, barge, rail (location specific) and inspects barges, trucks and railcars before loading.  Proficient in all facets of ADM’s safety programs and culture, has a strong working knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations, demonstrates safe working practices, has the ability to perform Safe Work Permit’s and recognize near misses    Perform housekeeping and cleaning dutiesAbility to learn and follow procedures for barge operations Ability to assist with maintenance projectsFollow procedures for working over water and on barges.Ability to learn and follow procedures for rail operationsAbility to learn and follow procedures for inventory management and bin capacities.Ability to learn and follow procedures for power industrial equipment.General Requirements:Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures , as well as a commitment to uphold the ADM Code of Conduct.Required to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. The shift may include 8 to 12 hours shifts on a rotational schedule.Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), move up to 50 pounds, as well as the ability to wear a respirator.Colleague will be expected to show an ability to learn functions outside of the production specialist to help fill for temporary or permanent vacancies in other roles.Perform any other job or task that assist with operations or the overall efficiency of the day to day workings of the facility.Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed.Exhibit a professional image; maintain respectful attitude.Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.Ability to work safely and follow policies and proceduresAttend safety training as requiredAbility to effectively communication with all members of team ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
