Production Section Manager
**What you’ll do:** • Manage the Electronics Production Plant Operations to provide world-class quality, delivery and service to customers. • Direct and control all operations staff to ensure they are properly motivated, trained and developed, and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards. • Organize all production operations to ensure that output productivity and quality targets are achieved and that all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards are observed. • Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that plant and equipment is effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency. • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers and organize periodic site visits to demonstrate the effectiveness of the production process. • Develop and implement short- and long-term plans to ensure that the plant has the necessary resources to meet targets/objectives. • Develop effective working relationships with all employees to ensure the maintenance of harmonious employee relations within the factory. • Monitor and control the factory profit plan to ensure that all financial and business objectives are met. • Development and implementation of the crisis management plans. • Develop 5S in the shop floor. • To ensure that the incident rate in the factory is maintained at zero all the time, in terms of damage to assets and injuries to personnel. • To ensure that all expenses are maintained as per budget provisions. • Responsible for team members’ performance improvement and career development. • To ensure that the ISO /TS16949 system and procedures are developed and followed as per the document. • To optimize inventory to obtain budgeted inventory turns . **Qualifications:** + BS in Engineering/Technology required, advanced degree in Engineering/Business preferred, additional post graduate academic studies in Operations Management a plus + With at least 8 years or more combined experience in Operations Management, + Technically proficient in key areas of supply chain management + Current or former Manager-of-Manager (MOM) required (direct reports & indirect reports), with strong capability in motivating and leading. + Strong Leadership Competencies (Leveraging Resources, Vision and Purpose, Strategic Thinking, Accountability) + Ability to engage and influence executive leadership + Strong problem solving and creativity skills + Technically proficient in key areas of supply chain management + Current or former Manager-of-Manager (MOM) required (direct reports & indirect reports), with strong capability in motivating and leading + Strong Leadership Competencies (Leveraging Resources, Vision and Purpose, Strategic Thinking, Accountability) + Ability to engage and influence executive leadership + Strong problem solving and creativity skills \#LI-SZ1
