Peptide Production Department manufactures a broad portfolio of biological active peptide as well as antigens to support antibodies production for various applications, including research, therapeutic development, and industrial use. Our mission is to leverage cutting-edge technology and innovative methodologies to produce peptides that meet the highest standards of quality and efficacy.
Manufacturing of peptide products starting with synthesis and ending with purified peptide, including analytical testing.Working according to written MMFs/SOPs with emphasis on quality and safety requirements.Providing real-time technical support and problem solving to ensure uninterrupted production.Providing technical support and ongoing maintenance of departmental production facilities.Participate in process improvements including the introduction of new technologies to production processes.Support departmental SAP activities such as opening NPDI, BOM creation, associating and issuing materials to PrO (process order), inventory management, etc.Ensuring ISO 9001-2000 compliance and compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements.Supporting oligos department as required.Provide support to the antibiotic unit:Ensuring compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) regulations and cleanroom requirements as needed.Assist in accurately weighing small quantities of materials, maintaining precise documentation of processes.Demonstrate technical orientation towards large-volume systems (e.g., mixers, drums) when required.Maintain an organized and systematic work approach, with a strong emphasis on detail and accuracy.Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.Be willing to work with antibiotics, with no known allergies.requirements
BSc in chemistry at a minimum, preferably MSc in Chemistry or degree in natural sciences (optional with adequate experience.Practical engineer certificate - Engineer BSc in Biotechnology / Chemistry at a minimum, preferably with MSc in science (optional with adequate experience).Practical lab work experience in a similar environment (manufacturing &/or laboratory, clean room etc.Experience in laboratory work in peptide synthesis – advantageExperience in HPLC – advantageExperience in MS – advantageAction-orientated.Organized.Honesty and integrity.Accuracy.Specializing in Chemistry.Excellent organizational and time-management skills to achieving results on time.Manual dexterity required to handle materials and operate machinery.Capable of independent, timely decision-making and problem-solving.Effective teamwork and collaboration with various interfaces.Technical, process orientation.Technical skills with devices.Computer and controlled equipment literate.Working with SAP.Effective oral and written communication skills in English and Hebrew
