Job Title: Production Scheduler Job Description
The Production Scheduler is responsible for leading factory scheduling efforts, aligning production, materials, inventory, and capacity to meet customer delivery goals while optimizing efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and manage production schedules and material plans.
+ Liaise between Production and Materials teams.
+ Adjust schedules based on capacity, material availability, and priorities.
+ Forecast based on sales projections and assess inventory impacts.
+ Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Procurement.
+ Maintain ERP data integrity and support system optimization.
+ Promote company values and cross-functional collaboration.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in production scheduling or related field.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Experience with MAPICS or similar ERP systems.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma or GED preferred.
+ Familiarity with order entry processes and customer account coordination.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to shifting schedules.
Work Environment
The role is primarily desk-based with extended periods of computer and phone usage. It may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may occur with team or mechanical assistance to ensure safe handling. The work takes place in an office environment with minimal exposure to production areas.

This is a Permanent position based out of Morristown, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
