**Position Profile**
The **Field Representative I, Fulfillment** provides operational support in a fulfillment center across a range of functions. This includes operating high-volume printing equipment (Segment 5), completing large-scale print jobs, performing bindery and finishing tasks, handling incoming/outgoing mail and faxes, shipping and receiving, and maintaining copier equipment. Additional responsibilities may include light maintenance, meeting room setups, and customer service duties such as reception or call center support.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
Operate high-volume printing equipment and perform binding and finishing work
Set up and run all applications on printing equipment
Conduct daily inspections of convenience copiers; clear jams and report issues
Perform repair and basic maintenance on copier equipment
Maintain records and inventory of supplies for reporting purposes
Distribute office supplies, mail, and fax transmissions to internal personnel
Calculate job charges and maintain billing logs
Respond to and coordinate all service calls as required by the customer
Deliver completed print jobs to designated locations both on- and off-site
Maintain daily service and meter logs
Travel between customer buildings as needed
Respond to customer inquiries regarding job status or feasibility
Keep copier areas neat, clean, and fully stocked
Assist with shipping and receiving of materials
Set up meeting rooms and assist with light facility maintenance
Support building occupant moves and minor cleaning duties
Operate additional office and production equipment (e.g., shrink-wrap, paper cutter, bindery tools)
Use office technology including calculators, fax machines, postage meters, and some PC applications
Perform document filing, purging, and archiving as required
Complete other duties as assigned
**Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)**
High school diploma or GED required
2–3 years of relevant work experience
Experience in a high-production or mechanically sophisticated print environment preferred
Valid driver’s license and minimum auto insurance coverage required
Ability to learn complex production and communication systems (e.g., client-specific mainframe applications)
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
Working knowledge of copier equipment and repair preferred
Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
Basic knowledge of electronics preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow mail delivery instructions and understand packing requirements
Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and related materials
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
**Working Conditions and Physical Demands**
Frequent exposure to printer noise, toner, and changing temperatures
Potential for minor injuries (e.g., paper cuts, box handling)
Exposure to outdoor conditions when traveling between buildings
Frequent contact with customers, staff, managers, and vendors
High-stress environment due to tight deadlines and quick turnarounds
Physical activity may include standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and pushing/pulling heavy equipment (up to 400 lbs)
Occasional night and weekend overtime may be required, including emergency response
