Job Description

The Production & Pricing Specialist supports both contract and full\u2011service (retail) customers through fast, accurate quoting and hands\u2011on order management. This is a customer\u2011facing role that blends estimating, product knowledge, and project coordination in a high\u2011volume production environment.

This role is ideal for someone who understands apparel decoration\u2014or is eager to learn quickly\u2014and can confidently guide customers toward the most effective production methods while maintaining speed, accuracy, and margin integrity throughout the quoting and order process.

ResponsibilitiesGenerate accurate and timely quotes for contract and retail customers, with a target turnaround of within 2 hoursRecommend appropriate decoration methods (screen printing, embroidery, DTG, patches, etc.) based on project scope, budget, and timelineIdentify and flag potential production issues early, including artwork limitations, garment compatibility, and placement considerationsManage retail orders from initial quote through production handoffCommunicate directly with customers to clarify specifications, timelines, and expectationsCollaborate cross\u2011functionally with Customer Service, Production, and Operations teams to ensure smooth executionMaintain pricing accuracy while protecting margins across all quoted workUtilize internal systems and tools to track quotes, orders, and customer communicationsManage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow\u2011throughEssential Skills2\u20135 years of experience in apparel decoration, print production, estimating, or a related field (or strong ability to learn quickly)Solid understanding of decoration methods or willingness to build technical knowledge rapidlyAbility to interpret artwork requirements, including vector formats, placement, and basic production constraintsStrong customer communication skills with confidence working directly with clientsExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast\u2011paced environmentStrong attention to detail with a proactive, problem\u2011solving mindsetAbility to work efficiently under tight timelines without sacrificing accuracyAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, or apparel production environmentsFamiliarity with pricing, quoting, customer accounts, and order management workflowsExperience using tools such as QuickBooks, Shopify, InkSoft, or CRM systems preferredComfort working in high\u2011volume quoting and production environmentsStrong margin awareness and cost\u2011conscious decision makingWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleFast quote turnaround times without compromising accuracyConfident, informed decisions on decoration methods and production feasibilityClear, professional communication with customers and internal teamsConsistent pricing accuracy and margin protectionAbility to juggle multiple projects and keep work flowing without bottlenecksJob Type & LocationFull\u2011time, onsite positionBased in Reno, NVReports to Operations, with day\u2011to\u2011day support from Customer Service leadershipTraining provided on internal systems and workflows

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
