Job Description

Making the plan and taking necessary actions to fulfill of manpower, tooling, machinery and other necessary things according to yearly forecast and reach to targets in coordination with production engineer.

Develop and review production and material plan.

Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.

Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations.

Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand

Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations in coordination with production engineer.

Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules.

Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion.

Investigate production problem, analyze root causes and provide solutions in line with production engineer.

Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.

Schedule shift according to production needs in coordination with production engineer.

Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.

Evaluate suppliers or quality, timeliness and match according to goals

Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages and excesses.

Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage

Determine parts requirements with the help of IT systems, monitor call-offs, and correct if necessary.

Determine or, if necessary, estimate the need for special parts, modifications, customer requests, etc.

Clarify delivery situations, monitoring incoming materials, send reminders if necessary.

In the event of bottlenecks, arrange measures to safeguard production. Carry out additional planning and clarify relevant matters internally.

Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, OTD, performance etc.)

Prepare and submit status and performance reports

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Industrial, Mechanical, Mathematic Engineer or related field is preferred.

Proven experience as production planner

Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles

Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)

Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, advanced excel

Good at math and statistics

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication abilities

Strong regard for product quality and safety standards
