Production Planning, Analyst

18 months temporary 

We are looking for a production planning analyst who will report to the Team leader, Production Planning in a dynamic multi-sector team under the S&OP director. This position is based in Sherbrooke and offers 50% work from home / 50% office work flexibility. As part of your role, you will be significantly contributing to the organization’s growth. You will be at the forefront of guiding decision makers toward an optimal balance between internal market demand, internal capacities, inventory and financial objectives at BRP. 

 

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Work in close collaboration with the Global planning team to establish an optimal global plan for production, market and inventory

Adapt and optimize the production plan on a continuous basis to better meet global market demand, considering various constraints and operational needs

Propose strategic solutions for different challenges that arise over the year

Build preliminary production scenarios for long-term capacity planning to define what is coming, potential areas of focus and potential future capacity investments

Prepare reports, summaries and presentations to explain strategies and lead an efficient decision-making process

Develop and maintain a high collaboration level with supply chain stakeholders

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

A bachelor’s degree in administration, operation management or any other relevant fields

3 to 5 years of related experience in a sizable manufacturing organization

A process improvement mindset served by analytical abilities and a rigorous approach

Drive and accountability for results as we’re acting on BRP’s key performance measures

An ability to clearly express your ideas verbally alongside crisp and high-quality executive communications

Business minded as a partner to maximize sales and inventory results in the regions

Effective networking skills when working with people in different regions or remote sites

Influence with key stakeholders across functions and levels

Bilingualism in French and English in order to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec, or unilingual English on a daily basis.
