HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Responsible for creating production schedules using EDI/customer order data and or SAPResponsible for overseeing all production planning activity for the facilityEnsure the production schedule supports on-time delivery goalsIdentify labor, capacity, or material constraints that may adversely affect on-time deliveryAdjust resources or schedules as needed to maintain operational efficiencyCommunicate with Production, Purchasing, Sales and Shipping departments to optimize the production scheduleCommunicate daily with internal customers on delivery questions, order changes, order tracking, etc.Handling production disruptions and productivity problemsCoordinates with plant personnel on planned downtime eventsReporting on the production status and any production issues internally

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of planning/production scheduling experience or 4+ years’ experience in planning/production scheduling in a manufacturing environment in lieu of a degreeGood Experience Microsoft Office Suite toolsStrong problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and writing Communication skills with internal and external customersExperience with scheduling using scheduling/planning software tools
