The Production Planner Apprentice position reports to the Operating Unit Manager, Planning and Systems and is part of the Materials Planning team located in Newcastle and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Work alongside the procurement team and materials planner to ensure a timely supply of RAW materials to the Newcastle facility
Working closely with cross functional teams on site at Newcastle to ensure release of manufactured products onto shelf; Production, Warehouse, Quality Control testing, Quality Assurance, Technical Operations, Investigations, Order Management, Distribution
Planning of the weekly production schedules and organise daily and weekly adjustments in line with customer requirements.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
Good communication skills; verbal & written
Ability to work well as part of a team but also work independently when appropriate with supervision and direction
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
