Job Description

This opportunity supports a critical function within an aerospace manufacturing environment, where production scheduling directly impacts customer delivery, inventory health, and operational efficiency. The role is responsible for owning and maintaining the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and ensuring alignment across production, materials, and shipping to meet customer commitments.

ResponsibilitiesOwn and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS).Ensure alignment across production, materials, and shipping to meet customer commitments.Make scheduling decisions that have a direct, visible impact on production success and on-time delivery.Collaborate daily with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Contracts, and Shipping for strong cross-functional exposure.Solve complex production challenges and manage risks proactively.Balance competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.Communicate effectively to align cross-functional teams without direct authority.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years of experience in production scheduling, production control, expediting, or manufacturing record keeping.Experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.Proactive problem solver with a sense of ownership and accountability.Ability to manage competing priorities.Additional Skills & QualificationsDemand forecasting experience.Experience with ERP/MRP systems.Aerospace or regulated manufacturing exposure.Advanced Excel or reporting skills.Continuous improvement mindset.High school diploma or GED (required).Work Environment

This role is based in an aerospace manufacturing environment and combines office-based production scheduling with frequent interaction on the production floor. The culture is collaborative, fast-paced, and accountability-driven, with daily cross-functional interaction across Production, Purchasing, Quality, Contracts, and Shipping. The position operates under general supervision, offering autonomy while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and execution. The scheduler supports one or more production cost centers and serves as a central coordination point between planning and operations. Dress code is professional attire, compliant with safety requirements. Hours align with standard manufacturing business hours, with flexibility expected during schedule disruptions or recovery planning to meet customer delivery commitments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
