Job Description

As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the scheduling and tracking of production activities across multiple departments. This position offers growth opportunities and the potential for promotion within the company.

Responsibilities

Prepare a production schedule for multiple department production operations.Compare actual results to planned outcomes and report variances daily.Track daily production by department.

Essential Skills

Understanding of resource planning, including the ability to determine and plan necessary resources for specific tasks.Ability to provide key operating indicators to operations to ensure tasks are completed on time.Capability to develop contingency plans when problems occur.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

4 years of experience in resource planning.Proficiency in production planning, inventory management, schedule planning, and supply chain management.Strong skills in Microsoft Office.Must be a legal citizen of the USA.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Must be able to speak and understand English.

Work Environment

Work in a small office within a blue-collar environment, providing a dynamic and hands-on work experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
