Hiring a Production Planner!

Job Description

Optimize manufacturing processes by developing detailed production schedules, managing inventory levels, and coordinating material flow to meet customer demand efficiently. Analyze forecasts, minimize bottlenecks, and liaise between purchasing, production, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery and resource optimization.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and adjust daily production schedules for all production lines based on customer orders and forecasts.Utilize MRP Systems (Unicloud, Unigea, and Pegaso) to release manufacturing orders and track material usage.Validate production data daily and analyze daily production productivity and scrap levels.Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate flow of raw materials for production while minimizing excess stock.Reconcile warehouse inventory when needed, working closely with the quality team.Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales to manage capacity, workforce, and machine availability.Address production delays, identify bottlenecks, and develop recovery plans.Inform the sales department daily of any eventual delays in deliveries.Compile performance reports regarding inventory.

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing and scheduling (1-3 years preferable).Proficiency in ERP/MRP software and data analysis tools.Proficiency in using Office 365.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
