Job Description:

As a Production Planner, you are responsible for ensuring an efficient and smooth production process through careful planning and coordination of production activities. You will work with both daily planning and long-term planning (1-6 months) to optimize resource use and achieve production goals.

The role involves having broad knowledge of Olink's/PSX’s various products and components.The Production Planner is also an expert in their field, i.e., they are the SC recipient and a member of new incoming projects.

The Production Planner also works on developing internal processes, proactively working on improvements.Within the Support Group in production, we work together towards the department's goals but also individually within our own areas of responsibility.

Main duties and work tasks:

Develop and maintain production plans to ensure production targets are met.Responsible for keeping track of the production stock and its expiration date.​Create and maintain process images, instructions and routines for the area of ​​responsibility.Drive improvements within your area of ​​responsibility by identifying and implementing new methods and processes.Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.Monitor the production process and adjust plans as necessary to handle changes and contingencies.Analyse capacity needs and identify potential bottlenecks or resource shortages. Identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Actively participate in projects related to production planning and streamlining.Monitor production flow and adjust as needed to address any deviations or issues.Continuously works for a good work environment. Reports and implements work environment improvements.

Qualifications:

Relevant university education in supply chain management, industrial economics, logistics or similar or equivalent work experienceExperience in production planning for at least 2 years, preferably in the life science industryGood knowledge of production planning systems and ERP systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyFluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
