Production Planner\n\nResponsibilities: \n•\tSets up weekly production by selecting components to fulfill the bill of materials (BOM) utilizing first-in, first-out (FIFO) method and minimizing surplus. Establishes lot numbers and expiration dates. Accountable for day-to-day activities required to create and maintain detailed production / supply schedules based on the master schedule.\n•\tResponsible for input of production orders and consumption inventory into software (Microsoft NAV). Works with production team to collect daily outputs and consumption to update KPI’s.\n•\tManages inventory and makes necessary adjustments in NAV. Manages levels of building necessities, working with purchasing to keep them stocked.\n•\tInteracts with technical support, customer service, sales, and the repair team to obtain and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate information used for sales and engineering functions and planning. Inputs and keeps track of the repairs and location of all instruments into CRM.\nQualifications: \n•\tBachelor’s Degree in business or a technical field, or equivalent education and work experience, required\n•\tMinimum of 1 year of experience in planning or production coordination is required \n•\tAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required. \nSkills/Abilities:\n•\tExcellent verbal and written communication, \n•\tMust be able to use discretion and independent judgement.\n•\tMust be able to work in a team environment.\n•\tExperience with Dynamic CRM is desirable.\n•\tExperience with MRP, specifically with NAV is desirable.\n•\tMust be able to pay close attention to details.\n•\tMust be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment. \n•\tMust be able to lift/carry 20 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
