Job Description:
The Technical Operator position produces lawn and garden tools and components within the wood cell, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient production. The role includes monitoring production lines, supporting associates, performing changeovers and setup tasks, and maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental procedures.
Responsibilities:
Perform operator fundamentals: resolve repetitive issues, and escalate when needed. Complete routine and complex set-ups, including multiple interdependent adjustments.Perform required changeovers (e.g., ruffing head, Sicotte, sanding, UV operations, inspection).Achieve minimum requirements: Five changeovers in at least two different product cells within time standards.Three diameter changes and ten non-diameter changes within 90 days.Conduct preventative maintenance and routine troubleshooting; understand all machine controls.Accurately interpret and use BOMs, Hour-by-Hour sheets, tool prints, communication boards, standard work documents, and quality visuals.Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.Education: High School
HS or GEDExperience: 3 months
