**Production Operator – Scott Plant - 4X permanent - full time** **Position SNAPSHOT** **Location: Smithtown** **POSITION SUMMARY** To support the Production Team, we are seeking experienced Production Operators for a role based at the Scott Plant on a shift rotation of **4 days on, 4 days off** . This position will operate under the current **12-hour shift roster** as outlined in the **Nestlé Smithtown Enterprise Agreement 2025** . **The key responsibilities include:** + Undertaking cleaning tasks + Preparing dry ingredients + Operating manufacturing equipment + Conducting in-line testing + Maintaining and improving inventory control Safety of our employees and food safety of our products remain paramount. **Key Responsibilities** + Develop and ensure high-quality product + Manage and operationally maintain manufacturing equipment + Achieve daily program plan and KPIs + Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes + Maintain high standards of **GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)** and safety requirements + **Strong focus on training, competency development and adherence to key standard routines** **Selection Criteria** + Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills + Sound numeracy and literacy skills + Demonstrated good communication skills + Ability to work well in a team environment + Strong time management skills + Attention to detail with a ‘can-do attitude’ and willingness to learn + Ability to undertake training and develop competencies + Possess a forklift licence **Employment terms & conditions** as per the **Nestlé Smithtown Enterprise Agreement 2025** .
