Production Operator
**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** This entry-level position is for the 2nd shift, running from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays based on production needs. As a Production Operator, you will begin your journey in the Rack area, where you will be responsible for loading large paper rolls onto the production machine and ensuring its smooth operation. A mechanical aptitude is required to clear any paper jams that may occur. Additionally, you will utilize an overhead crane to move heavy rolls. The role demands standing on your feet for 8 to 10 hours per day, and strict adherence to attendance is crucial. Starting pay is $18/hr with a pay increase after your first 30 days! **Responsibilities** + Load large paper rolls onto the production machine. + Ensure the machine operates correctly and efficiently. + Clear paper jams using mechanical skills. + Operate an overhead crane to move heavy rolls. + Maintain consistent attendance as per company policy. **Essential Skills** + Experience in a production line environment. + Mechanical aptitude to manage machine operations. + Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ideally, 2 years of production experience or related experience in warehouse or construction. + Experience in auto mechanics or similar fields is advantageous. + Strong work ethic and good attitude. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a $1 raise after 30 days of perfect attendance while on contract, with further performance reviews post-contract. Arrive 30 minutes early on your first day to ensure a smooth start. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
