Production Operator
**Job Title: Production Labor** **Job Description** Routinely use molds and presses in the production process to produce first part and regular production parts in a timely manner with minimal to no supervision. This role involves working on manufacturing assignments per written procedures where recognizing deviations from accepted practices is crucial. The position requires the ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers in a team environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate press machines to create parts using molds. + Clean and prime parts with appropriate chemicals and solutions. + Measure stock to ensure correct thickness and length. + Place various materials in molds, on mandrels, or in build fixtures by hand. + Weigh stock and scrap for salvage. + Monitor individual production for defects and ensure early detection. + Use production equipment and tools such as calipers and scales regularly. + Complete materials handling recordkeeping according to company and ISO standards. + Follow internal safety policies and procedures at all times. + Maintain a work area free of safety hazards and clutter, including setup and cleanup at the start and end of shifts. + Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure. + Experience in using hand tools to fabricate parts. + Attention to detail. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Combination of relevant education and experience can be considered. + Skilled in the use of hand tools including calipers, depth gages, micrometers, and other measuring equipment. + Experience with machinery. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term contract opportunity, providing stability and the chance to work in a collaborative environment. Safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed to ensure a secure work environment. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.30 - $20.13/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
