To be part of a team that builds world-class inspection technology products. The role will include assembly and in-process testing of probes and instruments, using processes including soldering, mechanical assembly, encapsulation, wiring and inspection.

We’re looking for a Production Operator to join our team who will assemble and test world-class inspection probes and instruments.
 

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out electro-mechanical assembly of probes and/or instruments using soldering, encapsulation, crimping, assembly and wiring skillsBeing able to read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics and standard operating proceduresInspecting completed assemblies for quality and functionalityReporting of non-conformities or assembly defectsMaintaining accurate production records and documentation, following process documents and using own initiativeMaintaining a clean and organised workstationFollowing ESD and safety proceduresOperating and maintaining assembly tools and equipmentWorking accurately and repeatability with minimal supervisionWorking well within a team but also be able to work alone at timesDemonstrating a flexible and positive attitude in order to meet deadlines

To be successful in this role you will:

Have prior experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing is desirable, will be advantageous but not essentialHave proven experience in the soldering of small, delicate parts and working in a similar manufacturing environment is desirable, will be advantageous but not essentialHave good computer skills including SAPDemonstrate good hand to eye coordination and manual dexterity.Possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.Hold an Irish passport/work permit and not require future sponsorship
