This position works out of our Richmond, IN location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You'll Work On

Demonstrate the Richmond Plant Philosophy (treat others the way you want to be treated, do your best, do what is right, improve through change and communication, etc.) and the Abbott Core CompetenciesAdhere to all safety and quality/GMP guidelinesComplete operational knowledge of Abbott Overcap Production Line, including press 21,22, 23, assembly area, depalletizer and palletizer​Posses strong working knowledge of injection molding, automation, operations and troubleshooting skillsPerform quality visual checks and fill out documentationPerform quality control testing and dimensional measurements to ensure the parts produced are meeting standardsDetailed understanding of batch documentation (batch sheets, material issue sheets, work orders)Complete processing adjustments when needed to create consistent quality overcapsComplete process verification documentationEnsure process is operating in control rangeCollect and pack pre-ship samples for each batchPerform cycle counts on commoditiesComplete shipping documentation and fill in for shipping duties as neededClear jams when necessary to keep line runningComplete assigned preventative maintenance tasks and responsibilities

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Shift

This is a 3rd shift position working from 10​:00 pm to 6:30 am.

Required Qualification

High School diploma or equivalentWorking knowledge and operational understanding of Lotus Notes, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordProficient in the use of inventory control system

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in injection moldingForklift certification

The base pay for this position is $18.65 – $37.35 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
