Production Operator / 1st Shift Requisition ID: 45536 Job Location(s): Newbern, TN, US Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Danfoss Power Solutions Segment Job Function: Supply Chain and Operations Work Location Type: On-site **Job Description** We have an immediate opportunity for a Production Operator ​to join us at our diverse team in Newbern, Tennessee.  Reports directly to the department Supervisor and is responsible for operating all machines to maintain established quality standards and production schedules in the manufacture of braided hose.   This is a 1st Shift position. **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. + Maintain a safe work environment and use proper safety devices as provided. + Abide by and actively promote all facility safety guidelines and quality procedures. + Ensure all material available for next run per the production schedule prior to starting set-up of machine. Load material onto machine per spec sheets and standard operating instructions. + Run machines per spec sheet and operating instructions, completing required quality checks, operating and quality paperwork, travelers, etc. as required. Aid in development and continuous improvement of Standardized Work documentation on an on-going basis. + Maintain a channel of communication between management and departmental personnel on shift crossover. **Background and Skills** The ideal candidate possesses these skills. + High School diploma or equivalent - REQUIRED and VERIFIED + Excellent attendance records.
