About the Role
We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a temporary assignment. You’ll handle diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and assembly of specialized rail/industrial equipment, including Shuttlewagon units.
Responsibilities
Review daily work orders and coordinate with supervisors.
Diagnose diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems with provided tools.
Perform engine repairs, fluid changes, and component replacements.
Assemble and customize Shuttlewagon units (engines, control systems, rail gear).
Test units to ensure safety and performance standards.
Complete accurate repair logs and service records.
Follow OSHA and company safety protocols.
Requirements
1+ year diesel mechanic experience OR recent trade school graduate.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to use diagnostic software, gauges, and testers.
Basic understanding of schematics and blueprints.
Must wear PPE.
Preferred
Pneumatic system knowledge.
Experience with heavy-duty mining or industrial equipment.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
